Searching.
When looking for a painting by name, try just putting in a key word and not the full title, as some paintings seem to have been given slightly different names. or in some cases renamed completely. In this case searching by description may help, also sorting the database in Excel by artist name or by date will narrow your search. Remember if you cannot find the painting in the database there are three strong possibilities: 1. The database is not complete. 2. It's a fake. 3. It's an unknown work, in which case I would like details on it so it can be added to the database, this can be done without any reference to it's location or owner.
